He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Hartmann, and Genevieve Hartmann, Jr. (Hein); his wife Angela Zabala of Medellin, Columbia; his children, Tamara Callstrom (Dan) of Cannon Falls, Minnesota and Robert Hartmann of Three Forks, Montana; his grandchildren, Camden Callstrom of Atlanta, Georgia, Allison Callstrom of Cannon Falls and Harper Arnold-Hartmann of Laurel, Montana; his siblings, Susan Rusch (Dave) of Erie and John Hartmann (Deanna) of East Dubuque; his former wife Mary Hartmann (Morton); his niece Sheryl Rusch; and his great-niece Faith Rusch.
