She was predeceased by: her father Eugene "Gene" Schermerhorn; her husband Robert Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Sindy Brooks, Jerome "Jay" Jackson, Jerald "Deuce" Porter II and Michelle Jackson.

She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Schermerhorn; her children, Jessica Binns (Steven) and Nicholas Daiker (Jarleeya); her nephew Joe Wozniak (Carly); her grandchildren, Weston and Annaliya; and her brothers, Timothy Schermerhorn, Mark Porter and Robert "Bobby" Jackson Jr..
