She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Haznedl Whitt and Joseph Preston Whitt; her husband Melvin Lawrence Johnson; and her daughter Laura Johnson Rowe. She is survived by: her granddaughter Elizabeth Ann; her siblings, Sally Whitt Rogers, Nancy Marie Whitt, Ellen Whitt Hubbell (James) and John Hart Whitt (Rita); and her children, Robert Preston Johnson (Ana), Elizabeth Johnson Fitch (David), Jennifer Johnson Orr (Rueben), Amy Johnson Withers (Chris) and Sarah Jean Johnson. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
