He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Hopping and Josephine Hopping (Jackson); and his siblings, Joseph, Francis, Don Hopping and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hopping; his daughter Valerie Hartzel (Mike); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Andrew, Heather, Candace, Sarah and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Triston, Dawson, Colton, Gabriella, Bryssa, Aubree, Jeordie, Donovan, Jaiden, Logan, Korbin, Cassidie, Breeonah, Skylah, Caleb, Lexi and Trenton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hope West in his name.
