Richard Udd Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Udd of Cedaredge, Colorado, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Udd and Evert Udd. He is survived by: his wife Kittie Udd; his fiancée Karen Locke; his daughters, Teresa Lindbery, Pamela Repp and Mandy Gunzenhauser; and his sisters, Claudia Udd, Katherine Udd and Kris Armstrong. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Arts Center (195 W Main St, Cedaredge, CO 81413).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Richard's favorite charities such as any scholarship foundation, the Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center, or the Surface Creek Valley Historical Society's Pioneer Town would be appreciated, or take the time to listen to a student, mentor them, and encourage them to continue their education.
