In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Wayne leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Quilla Joe Daniel and Lillie Mae Glovier; and his brothers, Joseph Warren and Alfred Dale (Laverne). He is survived by: his brother Robert Earl (Marian); his wife Peggy Jean Riddle; his children, Michael Andrew Daniel (Cindy Harris), Bryan Dean Daniel (Sonia Swartz) and Leslie Ann Hoskyns (James Thomas); and his grandson John Michael Daniel. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
During his time at GM, Wayne made significant contributions to understanding exhaust gas hydrocarbon emissions and improved engine design contributing to the reduction of pollutants.
