She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Garton and Bernard Garton. She is survived by: her siblings, Ellyn, Donna, Duane, Gloria and Lola; her daughters, Gail, Karen and Linda; her grandchildren, Josie, Hunter, Lauren (Gail), Shelby, Sabrina (Karen), Max (Linda), Bridget, Claire and Tory (Josie); and her friend Ellen Brenneman Nothing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Littleton Historical Museum, Bemis Library in Littleton and the Castle Rock United Methodist Church and Littleton United Methodist Church in Bernadine's name.
