As Caroline departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Caroline. Though Caroline may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son David Lee Baxter; and her husband Floyd Baxter. She is survived by: her son Michael W. Baxter (RaNae Scherck) of Evanston, Wyoming; her brother Gerard Flanders; and her grandchildren, Garrett Scherck (Oregon), Brandi Scherck (Washington) and Nicole Cross (Wyoming). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She survived the loss of her youngest son and the death of her husband, battled and beat cancer, recovered from two broken hips, and lived through COVID-19.
