She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wal and Jean Vander Wal; and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her friend Hank; her children, Kate (John) and Andrew (Miranda); her granddaughters, Claudia, Aila, Charlotte and Maeve; and her brother David (Bianca).
