He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pavlakovich and Josephine Pavlakovich; and his in-laws, John and Ellen Plut. He is survived by: his friends, Mike Valiant, Bob, Dianne Younkerman and Alex Distol; his wife Barbara Plut; his children, Julie Hoover (Jeff) of Keller, TX, Kris Krist (Gene) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Dan Pavlakovich of Littleton, CO; his grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew Krist, Justin and Jamie Hoover; and his sister-in-law Betty Valiant. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - South Metro/Centennial (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
