He is survived by: his wife Amy Hayes; his daughter Laura Sanchez; and his grandson Diego Sanchez of Centennial. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Georgetown Village Clubhouse (5349 E Weaver Dr, Centennial, CO 80121). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
