He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schmiesing and Vera Schmiesing (Meyer). He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Lammers, Anne (Richard Robbins), Robert (Sue Schmiesing) and Richard (Susannah Schmiesing); and his brothers-in-law, George Smith (Jeanne) of Woodland Park, CO and Daniel Smith (Joanne) of Colorado.
