He was predeceased by: his parents, James Couthen and Winnie Couthen; and his sisters, Perline and Alberta Cabral of Connecticut. He is survived by: his wife Jeri; his daughter Amy Beman (Tom) of Washington State; his granddaughter Lucy; and his sister Elaine Grable of Florida. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
