We bid farewell to Jon M. Plachy of Centennial, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Jon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Sondra Jo Self; his daughter Michele; his parents, Fred and Margaret; and his siblings, Shirley and Frederic.
He is survived by: his son Michael (Karen); his grandchildren, Meghan (Brent), Maxwell (Jenny), Madeline (Anthony) and Mallory (Dylan); and his great grandchild Blair Michele Traver.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wellshire Presbyterian Church (2999 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80222).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Michele Plachy-Rubin Memorial Fund at the University of Colorado or the Wellshire Presbyterian Church.
