She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Lucille and Joseph Calloway Boals Jr.; her brother Joseph Calloway Boals III; her former husband George William "Bill" Wilborn; her husband Richard Carroll Montgomery; her children, Mary Margaret Smith and Richard Allen Montgomery; and her grandson Dominic Michael Allen Burry.
She is survived by: her brother James William Boals; and her daughters, Jennifer Burry (Allen) and Katherine Homan (Eric). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 bonus great-grandchildren; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
