He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Dropik and Ida Dropik; and his siblings, Arlene Thoennes (Richard), Shirley Kluver (Henry), Betty (Charles) and Willis (Bill).
He is survived by: his former spouse Giselle Becu; his children, Nadine, Richard (Rick), Dave, Gisele, Mark and Elizabeth; his wife Marlys Dropik; and his siblings, Beverly Thoennes (late Arnold), Patty Hartman (late Basil), Diane Dropik, Judy Koep (late Roman) and Dale (Joanne). He is also survived by his three children, two stepchildren, three grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria, where Richard's remains will be interred.
