He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Garcia and Eva Salazar Garcia; his daughter Melissa; and his sister Patricia Ann Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Zepf Garcia; his children, Adam, Jonathan and Anna Garcia; his daughters-in-law, Debani Pirkle and Liz McIntosh-Garcia; his sister Maria Elena Garcia Aaronson; his nephew Ryan Basil; his cousin Laura Chavez Gomez; and his brothers-in-law, Cortland Zepf, Welden (Kathy Zepf) and Salazar.
A rosary was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (6633 Co Rd 13, Antonito, CO 81120). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
