He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Verbik Okes; his parents, Sidney Robert Okes, Sr. and Irene Briggs Okes; his brother Day Okes II; and his brothers-in-law, Frank and Tony Verbik.

He is survived by: his children, Sid, Jr., David (Michelle) and Jennifer (David Arcenia); his former wife Michelle Miller; his children, Corey, Britta and Jordan; his grandchildren, Amelia and Wyatt Okes; his children, Wilder, Solvei Carlisle and Raine Paul Okes; his former spouse David Arcenia; his child Vale; his grandchildren, Corey (Katie), Britta (Taylor Carlisle), Jordan Okes (Courtney) and Nicole "Vale" Arcenia; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Wyatt Okes, Wilder, Solvei Carlisle and Raine Paul Okes; his siblings-in-law, Lillian Verbik Taggart (Bill) and Finni Verbik; and his nieces and nephews, Jeannette, Jamie, Mike Verbik, Dana Skibsted and David Day Okes.
