It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Mae Crawford (Center, Colorado), who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Sheesley and Berniece Sheesley; her husband Eugene Crawford; her stepfather Lowell Stanley; her sister Roberta Faye; her son-in-law Bill Whitmer; and her brother-in-law Tom Arbogast.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Crawford of Monte Vista, CO, Don Crawford (Yvette) and Scott Crawford of Arvada, CO.; her grandchildren, Max Whitmer (Kirsten) of Monte Vista, CO, Brenna Whitmer of Twin Falls, ID, Griffin Whitmer of Monte Vista and Dawson Crawford of Wheat Ridge, CO; her great grandchildren, Paisley and Brynleigh Whitmer; her siblings, Wilma Arbogast and Willard Sheesley (Denise); and her close friends, Peg, Leta and Vada.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a favorite charity or to Operation Smile, in care of the funeral home office.
