He is survived by: his wife Eunice Bernal; his siblings, Alice Sanchez of Blanca, Karen Vargas of Fort Garland, Meliton Sanchez of Kersey and Floyd Sanchez (Debbie) of Denver; his children, David Marquez (Melissa), Angela Bernal (Basil Martinez) and Manuel R. Bernal II; his grandchildren, Dianne Gardner (Dalton), A. J. Aron Chavez (Zack), Haley Bernal, Syriah Bernal, Julian Chavez (Kamilla), Basil Martinez II and Stephanie DeBouse; and his close friend Erven Jacquez. He is also survived by 4 Great-GrandChildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
