She is survived by: her sister Margie; her children, Vern Jr. (Joan), Debbie, Diane and Tom (Lynne); her grandchildren, Shannon (Patrick), James, Michael (Leah), Andrew (Ashton), Sarah (Nate), Elizabeth, Justin (Bethany) and Ryan (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Hadlee, Eleanor, Clara, Nora, Noah and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or a charity of choice.
