She was predeceased by: her mother H. M. Towles; her former husband Stan Jones; her husband Marsh Kean; her close friend Tom Jones; her daughter Carol H. Kelley; and her granddaughter Melissa L. Kean.

She is survived by: her children, Linda K. Jones, Thomas S. Jones IV (Karrie), Marshall P. Kean III and Robert B. Kean (Linda); her son-in-law Kent Kelley; and her grandchildren, Thomas S. Jones V (Tara), Tyler A. Jones (Jori), Kendra Cabot (Breck), Samuel B. Berkeland, Col. Christopher R. Kean, Kristin K. Funk (Sheldon) and Ryan Kelley. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
