We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, at the age of 81, Carol Matzek (Colorado Springs, Colorado) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Grumbo and Clifford Grumbo; and her daughter Carla Mae Frost. She is survived by: her husband Matt Matzek; her sons, Michael Frost (Carol), Jack Frost (Debbie) and Terry Frost; her grandchildren, Jericho Frost, Brenna Frost (Chris Gonzales) and Ryan Frost (Becca); and her siblings, Richard Grumbo (Lois), Robert Grumbo (Gayle), Russell Garnett, Geri Miller, Betty Story (Bill), Kathy Morave, Linda Erickson (Ray) and Genni McAllister (Pete). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
