Charles left this world on January 22, 2026 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cannon and Effie Cannon; and his life-long love Billie Jean Cannon. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah J. Friedmann; his grandchildren, Jaret R. Brown (Carlene Brown), Jaklyn R. South and Janessa Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Edward (Maria Brown), Fred (Susan Goodrich), Tammy (Jaime Hernandez), Trina Walters, Kellee Wanson, Ann White, Tony Brassfield and Sunny Rhodes. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
