He was predeceased by: his parents, Elenore "Dolly" Fox and Claude Fishburn Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Rosario-Fishburn; his son William Fishburn; and his stepchildren, Lester Rosario and Yvonne Ross. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Claude took pride in his work and his contributions to the community.
