He is survived by: his wife Jill; his daughter Meg; his mother Joyce Hartung; his sister Annette Conlon; his brother-in-law Doug Conlon; his sister Carolyn Leonhardt; and his brothers-in-law, Curt Leonhardt and Michael Evers.

Don donated his bone, heart valves, soft tissue and corneas through the Donor Alliance.
