She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beinlich and Ruth Beinlich; her husband Boyd Carmichael; her sister Vivian; and her son John (Shirley).

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Hatchell (Mark), Mary Thompson (Jim) and Laura Bozeman (Mike). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
