Douglas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Douglas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Shake and Thelma Frances Shake (Bush); and his siblings, Mary Ann Sullivan and Albert Lee Shake. He is survived by: his wife Frankie Shake; his children, Larna Shake and Rebecca Dunbar (Paul); his grandson Peter Douglas; and his brothers, Donald Alexander Shake and Bruce Allen Shake (Sally) of Oak Lawn, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
