He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riley Hyde and Martha Augusta Koch Hyde; and his daughter Rebecca Lynn Hyde. He is survived by: his wife Norma Hyde; his children, Franklin Garth Hyde, Jr. (Sue), Martha ReeAnn Hyde and Mary Esther Hyde (John Dennis); his grandchildren, Weston (Allie), Kelly (Robbie), Amanda (Dean) and Memphis Anne Herrmann; and his great grandchildren, Caiden, Analise of Joshua, RJ, Micah, Alanna and Avianna.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Springs Church of the Nazarene - Chapel (4120 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80916). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bonita Park Christian Camp and Conference Center in New Mexico.
