He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Boles and Helen Kathryn Osterholm (Kate); his stepfather Orrin Osterholm; and his brother Phillip Osterholm. He is survived by: his son Gary; his wife Patti Boles; his brother Douglas Osterholm (Joan); his children, Dana Koenig (Jeff), Lora McHugh (Matt) and Erik Boles (Carmen); and his grandchildren, Patrick McHugh (Kendra), Annika McElhinney (Dillon), Korben Koenig, Kyle McHugh (Lexcie), Zoe Vendetti (Alex), Natalie Dowdy and Landon Boles.
