It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerhard Tippins of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy G. Tippins Jr. and Martha Tippins (Steindl); his sisters, Linda (Tippins), Haehn (Steven Haehn) of Loveland and Patricia Tippins of Colorado Springs; his nieces and nephews, Christine (Haehn), Ritchie (Taylor) of Fort Collins, Katharine (Haehn), Ross (Bryan) of Wellington, Stephanie (Haehn), FitzPatrick (Connor) of Milliken, Troy Romero (Trevor) of Pittsburg, Michelle (Romero) and Arriola (Diego) of Broomfield; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Dustin, Michaela, Brecken, Weston and Kaia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's memory to Catholic Charities of Central Colorado or National Alliance on Mental Illness.
