He is survived by: his wife Diane Gardner; his daughters, Daisy and Molly Gardner; his stepchildren, Jett Butterworth, Linda Butterworth and Rob Butterworth; his grandchildren, Alex Morton, Addie Morton, Theodore Gardner, Aleah Schoengut, Patchouli Martein, Eve Butterworth and Ella Butterworth; his great grandchildren, Nikolai Schoengut, Lucas Schoengut, Zachary Schoengut and Forrest Martein; his nieces, Marci Hartson, Michele Thornley and Sarah Gardner Saavedra; and his nephew Andrew Gardner.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Swan-Law Funeral Directors Chapel (501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903).
