He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Kyle and Melba Isenhart Kyle; his siblings, John "Butch" Kyle, Emma Jean Kyle, Gladys White and Kathryn Goodnow; and his stepson Ronald Vroman.
He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmine Kyle (Froschauer); his son Kevin Kyle; his stepdaughters, Toni Vroman and Christine Azzone; his grandchildren, Megan Lukowiak, Logan Kyle and Ethan Kyle; and his siblings, Frank Kyle, Jeff Kyle, Allen Kyle, Walter Kyle, Patty Shepard, Sue Jones, Ardith Turner and Millie Hendon.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Howard's name to the Patriot Guard Riders of Colorado.
