He is survived by: his siblings, Edith, Emaline, Everette, Earl, Edward and Erma; his children, Cheryl Braxton (David), Irwin Chapman, Jr., Edward "Rick" Chapman and Anthony Briley (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Darwin, Nicole, David, Jr. (Daisha), Nathan, Meghan, Alexis, Charli, Blake, Earl, Natasha, Davisha, Mykael and Gabriel; his great grandchildren, Londyn and Brooklyn; his wife Corrine (Corrie); and his pet Independence.
