He is survived by: his parents, Linda Aust (Denison) and Patrick Aust; his children, Blake Aust, Ashley Vrcic (Brandon) and Rachael Aust; his granddaughters, Emma and Ava Vrcic; and his sister Jennifer Aust.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80925). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
