“Our family feels the loss of this Good Man deeply. We are at peace knowing he is relieved of the pain & disability he endured dealing with Agent Orange related Parkinsonian Syndrome, heart disease, and finally Metastatic Cancer. He is at Peace with Our Lord. A memorial Service will be planned at a later date when the whole family can be here. Gifts in John’s name to any Veterans Services group would be appreciated.”

At Fort Campbell he was the Company SIP & the Assistant to the Division Aviation Officer. After retirement John Volunteered for The Colorado Office of Emergency Management. He served as a Lector & Lay Eucharistic Minister at the Chapel on Fort Carson. Was President of the PTO at Sunrise Elementary”

As a Chinook pilot he became a Safety Officer, a Standardization, Night Vision Goggle, and High-Altitude Instructor Pilot & Instrument Flight Examiner. He served in Alabama, Korea, Germany, Colorado, Kentucky & Saudi Arabia in Operation Desert Shield back with the 101st Airborne. He was medically retired with 3600 hours of flight time.”
