She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Lychner (Ginny) and Irvin Lychner; her sister-in-law Pam Lychner; her nieces, Shannon and Katie Lychner; Bill.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Mark Smith; her children, Jill Foster (William) and Marc Smith (Julie); her grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kendyl; her siblings, Joe Lychner (Brenda) of Austin, TX and Judith Teller (Bill) of Louisville, KY; her brother-in-law David Smith (Mary) of Texas City, TX; and her grandchildren, Noelle Foster and Keegan Smith.
In lieu of flowers, Joy's hope is that you might donate to St. Jude in her honor, as she fervently hoped for a cure, especially to overcome childhood cancer.
