She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Arnold and Edith Arnold; and her siblings, Wayne Arnold, Bud Arnold, Phillip Arnold, Don Arnold and Rita Shelley.
She is survived by: her husband Raul Vazquez; her daughter Ruth Carpenter; her son-in-law Bob Carpenter; her grandson Bobby Carpenter; her daughter Rachel Worley; her sisters, Evon Peery, Sharen Helms and Cindy Blevins; and her stepchildren, Diana Bautista of Loyola, Melissa Bautista of Loyola, Analis Howell and Christopher Daven Howell.
Donations in honor of Karen may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. (Karen's page (https://fundraising.stjude.org.)) Karen, a cancer survivor herself at the turn of the 21st century, had a passion for the wellness of children, for their quality of life, and a deep compassion for their families.
