He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Young; his children, Theresa Borata (Dan), Kevin Martin and Lisa Canedo (Rich); his grandchildren, Amber Derryberry (Ben), Jennifer Townsend (Luke), Kyle Borata (Amber), Andrew Borata, Aubrey Ortega (Miguel), Kami Finn (Cody) and Richie Canedo; and his great grandchildren, Davian, Vincent, Marissa, Kaitlynn, Jayce, Arya, Iris, Belle, Justus, Makaylee, Levi, Tenley and Beau.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Black Forest Community Center (12530 Black Forest Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908).
