With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Edward Smith (Colorado Springs, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Smith and Sidney Carfagno; his sister Elizabeth Bell; his aunt Rebbeca Smith; and his grandparents, Margaret Smith and Woodrow Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith of Colorado Springs, CO; his sister Amanda Gipson of Colorado Springs, CO; his siblings-in-law, Kelley Smith and Cynthia Badgett (Mike); his uncle Richard Smith; his sibling's children, Kenneth Jones, Shawn Smith, Jermaine Smith, Anthony Bell, Natasha Hildreth, Tamika Bell and Corine Bell; his great-nieces and great-nephews, La'Neria Jackson, Sa'Maria Scott, Shawn Smith II and Reco Smith; and also Shawn Smith III.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory (1104 S Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
