“We met when we were in our 20s, Mark. The year was 1974, the place Svendborg, Denmark. You stayed with us for some months, and introduced us to your mother Betty, who went with us on a bicycle trip - her first, we believe - at the age of 60. Somehow we lost contact with you - there was no internet in those days - and we were all busy doing our own stuff, We think of you with joy and gratitude, and send our condolences to your family.
