He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKenzie and Florence McKenzie; and his sister Joan Crall. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Lisa, Susan, Carol McKenzie, Calvin Lee and Robert Vermillion; his grandchildren, Akayla, Rowan McKenzie-Park, Joel and Kyle Vermillion; and his siblings, Katharine, James, Mark McKenzie and Gail Eder.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church (6455 Brook Park Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to Wounder Warriors, Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care, or a charity of your choice in Mike's Name.
