She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tommy Mills and Frances (Mills); her husband Richard Thompkins; her children, Richard Thompkins II, Lawrence Edward Thompkins and Carroll F. Thompkins-Reeves; her grandchildren, Richard Thompkins III, Megan E. Thompkins, Juan R. Powell, Alexander Thompkins and Evan Thompkins; her sisters, Wilameania Powell-Simpson of Augusta, GA and Burnadette B. Howard of Jacksonville; her children, Frances Thompkins Brown, Father Tommy Mills and Anthony Leon Thompkins; and her sister Thomasina Mills. She was also cherished by nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
