He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bissel Whaley and Amy Whaley; and his wife Nellie. He is survived by: his caregiver Pravitar Williams; his sister Sharon Kay Whaley-Speak; his daughter Scherie; and his pets, Rascal, Precious and Buddy.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association in honor of his late wife Nellie.
