He was predeceased by: his mother Leilani Kiess. He is survived by: his significant other Amie Milling; his father Bob Kiess; his sister Wendy Geist (Tom); his nephews, Ken Geist (Danielle) and Wesley Geist; his niece Amanda Jensen (Mark); and his pet Nikki.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo or a local animal rescue organization.
