He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Resch and Emma Resch; and his sisters, Mary Caffee and Alice Mulkey. He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Resch; his children, Beverly Resch of San Francisco, Brenda Hansen (Bob Joseph) and Robert Resch (Kristin Resch) of Colorado Springs; and his siblings, Thomas, Bill, Jenny, Betty and Cathy.
After retiring from IBM at age 54, he continued to serve others through his work with the Kaiser Foundation from 1992-1997 as a systems lead programmer.
