Wright (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in West Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill D. Pearce and Lillie Sue Clay; her husband Wesley; her son Eric Wright; and her siblings, Sue, Artes Ray, Dennis Earl, Thomas Glen and Charles Norman.
She is survived by: her friend Charlotte Keeney; her sons, Gary Wayne Wright (Linda) of Calhan, CO, Bruce Lynn Wright of Calhan, CO and Karl Trent Wright of Falcon, CO.; her grandchildren, Jarred P. Wright, Cyndee Taylor of La Mesa, CA, Amy Sutton (Brian) of Salida, CO, Cori Ruth Williams of Richmond, VA and Katie Smith (Adam) of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Audree, Gracee, Parker, Clay, Seth, Cade and Eli; and her grandchildren, Erica Gates, Donald Graham, Robert Graham, Kristina Martinez, Chelsea Mattson, Samantha, Sophie Graham, Bryton, John and Hayden Graham. She is also survived by loving nephews, nieces, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org, a cause close to Ruth's heart.
