We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 72, Savannah Marie Jackson (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elder, Jr. and Reverend Gloria; and her siblings, Celeste N. Elder and James Elder III. She is survived by: her husband Deacon Troy L. Jackson; her siblings, Elaine R. Thomas of Colorado Springs, CO, Gloria J. Elder of Denver, CO, Angela R. Chester (Kevan) of Glen Burnie, MD, Betty J. Elder of Glen Burnie, MD and Jae Elder of Colorado Springs, CO; and her children, Savannah R. Hampton of Ferris, TX, Leslie F. Ruiz (Wil) of Phoenix, AZ, Myron "Shaun" Bradford (Angela) of Colorado Springs, CO. and Troy Jackson, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by Twelve Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of other friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory (1104 S Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (3615 Vickers Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).
