He was predeceased by: his parents, James Higley and Rita Higley (Baichly). He is survived by: his wife Janet Sosalla; his children, Jesse, Dylan, Christabelle, Gavin, William "Bill" Higley (Kim), Rhiannon "Randi" Villaverde (Leo) and Sarah Frederick; his grandchildren, Leyton, Ela Villaverde, Estherose and Simon Frederick; and his brother John Higley (Kate) of Hebron, Connecticut..
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (2650 Parish View, Colorado Springs, CO 80919). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
