He was predeceased by: his parents, Daryl Merwyn Schmidt and Elsie Elizabeth Schmidt (Scheidt). He is survived by: his wife Janice Mae Schmidt (Nolte); his sisters, Julie Hall of Ft Wayne and Kathy Menzel of Ft Worth, Texas; and his children, Heidi Hollis, Bryan, Nathan and Jonathan Schmidt.
